I have 13 years teaching and 1-1 tutoring experience at further and higher education. This experience is mainly in science and biology subjects, however I can help with writing research proposals, assignments, editing and proof reading work or just assisting with work that learners find hard to get to grips with. Two heads are better than one! I am experienced with adult learners returning to education who may not have practised researching and writing skills. Also experienced with educational needs. I have a passion for teaching and watching learners grow in confidence. I encourage learners to think for themselves, so they develop skills necessary to learn independently.

Hobbies
I consider myself a friendly, down to earth person who likes to encourage confidence in people I tutor. Often low confidence is the main barrier to success, so I like to make learning fun, encourage individuals to try, progress at their pace and praise their success however small this may be. In my spare time I enjoy personal fitness, riding my horse and spending quality time with my two beautiful children.
